Terms & Conditions

These terms cover website design, build, hosting, and Care Plan services provided by Clementine Web Co. ("we," "us") to a client ("you"). By requesting a free mockup, accepting a build, or paying an invoice, you agree to these terms.

The free mockup

We may build a rough, unpublished website mockup using your business's name and public information, at no charge and with no obligation. It isn't live, isn't guaranteed to be error-free, and remains our work until you accept a paid build.

The $500 build

If you accept a mockup, we build it out fully and publish it live on a domain you control, for a flat one-time fee of $500. This includes a working contact form and mobile-friendly design. Payment is due before or at launch, as agreed at the time.

Care Plan ($50/month)

The optional Care Plan covers hosting, unlimited small edits, and one full redesign whenever you want it, for $50/month. You can cancel anytime; canceling stops future billing but doesn't refund the current period, and hosting/edits stop at the end of the paid period.

Buyout

You may take the full source code and host it elsewhere for a flat $500, available anytime. Once bought out, we're no longer responsible for hosting, edits, or uptime for that site.

Ownership

We retain ownership of a site's code and design until the $500 build fee (or buyout fee) is paid in full. Once paid, you own the site content and it's yours to keep live, move, or modify, subject to any third-party licenses (fonts, images, plugins) used in building it.

What we don't guarantee

We build and host in good faith but don't guarantee specific business outcomes (traffic, leads, sales), uninterrupted uptime, or that third-party services we rely on (hosting, DNS, form delivery, payment processing) will never have an outage. We're not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the site or these services.

Cancellation & refunds

The free mockup carries no obligation either way. Once the $500 build is paid and the site is live, that fee is not refundable, since the work has been delivered. Care Plan billing can be canceled anytime for future periods, as above.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the business evolves; the current version on this page governs going forward, and material changes affecting active clients will be communicated directly.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida.
